TWOTON GREEN BLOG... a twist on the way I would say my name as a small child, TwoTon Green Book. This, however, is a blog and not a book.

Sunday Sunset
Been a while since I've had a sunset -- today the drought sorta ended. Had some sun today, not a lot, but enough to give me hope that the clouds would be held at bay long enough for some color at sunset instead of the usual gray that's been so prevalent lately.
As the sun was dipping below the clouds, the clouds deepened and closed off any further color. No actual sunset but it sure was pretty. Within a few minutes of taking this last shot, the gray was back.

Absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeletethanks dana -- i had such high hopes for the sunset -- looked like it was building up some fantastic color -- that orange is so vibrant -- and then *whamo* back to gray.
ReplyDeleteYou live in a special place.
ReplyDeletethanks onefly -- i am so blessed to be living here.
ReplyDeleteI do love your lake pictures! They remind me of my "other" home. :)
ReplyDeletethanks silver fox -- its not a lake -- tis netarts bay on the oregon coast, just south of tillamook bay, looking across to the spit. tis very placid and when it gets mirror like, it sure does look like a lake.
ReplyDeleteAmazing -- I want to go to there (again!)
ReplyDeleteanytime teddy -- just check the weather going over the pass first :)
ReplyDeleteHmm... I guess I *knew* that from earlier posts, but then this one looked almost exactly like "my" lake. Oops.
ReplyDeleteMy grandparents used to like at Garibaldi - so maybe it just looks familiar in general.
"Live" not like.
ReplyDeleteno problem silverfox -- tis very lake looking at times. garibaldi is so pretty -- and not that far north of me. whereabouts is your lake?
ReplyDeleteIt's in northern CA - I don't usually get more specific about that on the nets.
