  1. Wow! Love this. Whenever I see Roy Clark, I can't help but think of how we always teased our mother about him being her boyfriend when we watched Hee Haw. It didn't matter what she was busy doing in the kitchen. When he sang, she stopped and came into the family room to watch.

  2. lisa -- what a cool story! i remember when hew haw was a prime time show

    i've always liked him too. i think this song is much more powerful now than when he sang it with a strong voice.
