Dusty and a handful of guys and gals of The Brit Invasion were all OVER the r & b sound and treated and delivered it well.
Dusty hosted a few Brit tv progrms, too . . . and they always showcased black artists from the US . . . . and when the Brits invaded USA, they brought all that black music to the white kids in USA, who missed it first time around due to segragation . . .
