From Jane's most recent post at FireDogLake.com, a blog I read daily (even the comments). Sometimes I even come out of lurking mode and comment. As soon as I figure out how to blogroll, I'll have FireDogLake along with my friend Debra's blog right up there! And, as soon as I figure out how to change these links into those nifty wordlinks that say what I want them to say, please bear with me. I've got my fingers and toescrossed but, being double Irish and all, hope this first attempt at linking works...

Glad to see I'm not the only Golden Stater excited about Lamont. Of course, I used to live in CT, and my family still do, so I guess I've got a tie.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, it's pretty easy to make text links in Blogger. When you're creating your post (in either "HTML" or "Compose" mode), just mark (using the mouse) the text you want to be the link, then click the little button (in the grey area just above where you type in your post) that looks (vaguely) like two chain links sitting on a globe. You'll get a pop-up box into which you can enter the URL where you want the link to go.
Thanks, con-op for the link info. I had tried to do that on this post - got it right on the firedoglake link but totally messed up the newspaper article link.

And, as you said, its nice to see another Golden Stater who has their fingers and toes crossed for Lamont.
